CBJJ Team Overview

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that focuses on grappling and ground fighting as a self defense. Jiu-Jitsu has recently become more popular and is noted to be one of the fastest growing MMA sports in the United States. The concept of BJJ is that smaller people who are not as strong can defend themselves against a larger more stronger opponent. Through the use of skillful leveraging techniques and effective groundwork, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu martial artists are able to manipulate, subdue, and control their opponent.

 

CBJJ Team Kids BJJ Classes

The kids classes here at CBJJ School are to teach your child/children the basic positions to advance depending on age and knowledge. CBJJ School offers classes starting at the age of 4 years old and up, each class is broken up into small groups for the different age groups. The age groups are broken into  ages 4 year old to 6 years old, 7 years old to 10 years old, 10 year to 14 years old and after the 14 years old they would go into the adult class. Each class is different and keeps them motivated to come and learn. We incorporate play and fun with learning and structure.

CBJJ Team Adult Classes

The adults class here at CBJJ School are for all levels from never touching feet on a mat to being on the mat for years. We like to incorporate beginner positions and more advanced positions on the mat to fulfill the needs for both beginner and more advanced students to work as a team to learn together. Each class is different to keep you motivated to learn more and still remember what we just taught you everyday. This journey will be something you will always remember and will be life changing.

CBJJ Team Muay Thai

Muay Thai

Muay Thai, sometimes referred to as “Thai boxing”, is a martial art and combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the “art of eight limbs” as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees and shins. Each class is 1 hour workout with a great warm up and a stretch at the end. This is for all levels from beginner to more advance.

CBJJ Team Cardio Boxing

Cardio Boxing

Cardio boxing is a mix of boxing and the uses of light to heavy weights for fantastic workout that will make you keep coming back for more. Every class will have you challenging yourself to a new fitness level with a lot of cardio workouts mixed with a full body workout with weights and your own body weight. Class are 1 hour with a great warm up and stretch at end. This is for all levels from beginner to more advance.
